Pre-reception drinks and canapés are held on the veranda of the historic building, or enhance the experience by utilising the Platform 9 exhibit in the Museum.

The Workshops Rail Museum is also perfect for wedding photography, providing a stunning and unique backdrop for memorable images.

Locations include:

Refreshment Room
A traditional setting complete with a cosy fireplace, the Refreshment Room requires very little embellishment. Ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies or wedding receptions.

Trackside Café
The original workers' dining hall has been transformed into the comfortable Trackside Café and is perfect for larger wedding receptions.

Powerhouse Forecourt
The majestic building backdrop, complete with terraced gardens, makes for a stunning wedding ceremony location.

Platform 9
Relive the romance of rail by holding your pre-reception drinks and canapés on a railway platform featuring the immaculate interior of a grand old railway carriage.
