The Workshops Rail Museum is a unique and cost effective venue for your next conference, workshop or meeting. Central to the region, the facilities at The Workshops Rail Museum include various styles of rooms and innovative break-out spaces.

We have an extensive range of equipment available including a PA system, lectern, overhead projector, data projector, electronic whiteboards, high resolution screens and audio-visual equipment. The Refreshment, Commissioners and Conference Rooms are Internet capable. We can also source other equipment to suit your requirements.

Ask about our catering options, ranging from simple morning teas and boardroom lunches to hors d'oeuvres and dramatic themed banquets for welcoming or post-conference or workshop events.

All conference, workshop and meeting spaces are air-conditioned and include:

Refreshment Room
A traditional setting complete with a cosy fireplace, the Refreshment Room has access to the veranda for break-outs and is perfect for conferences and workshops.

Trackside Café
The original workers' dining hall has been transformed into the Trackside Café with convenient access to the Refreshment Room, allowing for preparation, interviews or discussion areas.

Conference Room
The Conference Room is a great choice for planning or team building days when you need to escape the office environment.

Commissioners Room
Perfect for boardroom meetings, the Commissioners Room features a heritage boardroom table and original carved chairs, but can also be reconfigured to suit your individual requirements.

Theatrette
Featuring the latest in multi-media technology, the Theatrette is conveniently located adjacent to the Foyer. This space is well suited to audio-visual presentations and allows for total 'black out' conditions.
