Permanent Exhibitions

The Workshops Rail Museum's permanent exhibitions take visitors on a lively and colourful journey of discovery into the Queensland rail story. Explore the historic Timekeepers Building, Grounds, Powerhouse and War Memorial, before seeing a locomotive whose job was Moving Goods around the State in the 1950s. The change from steam to diesel is explored in Diesel Revolution before it's All Aboard to see the oldest steam locomotive still operating in Australia, the A10 No6.
