Wizards and Witches Express Steam Train SOLD OUT
Tuesday 8 July 2008
The Workshops Rail Museum is running the Wizards and Witches Express Steam Train from Roma Street Station on Tuesday 8 July 2008. Travel by steam train from Roma Street Station to The Workshops Rail Museum, enjoy the BIG LOUD FUN of the Museum and the Wizards and Witches Express event before returning to Roma Street Station via coach (bus).

Workshops Wizards Storytelling
Wand-masters will be spellbound by the Workshops Wizards Storytelling, and be dwarfed by the magical creatures residing at The Workshops Rail Museum during the holidays.

Forest of Knowledge & Garden of Learning
Make a wand and cast a spell on your friends while you enjoy puzzles, puppets, craft, costumes and stories.

Sorcerers School
Budding sorcerers of all ages are invited to discover the secrets behind the sorcery.

Starlight Labyrinth
Follow the stars and you shall see a magical universe that is the place to be!

Secrets of the Stars Workshop - Group Bookings Only
Explore the wonders of space with a guided tour of the StarLab, followed by fun, educational space activities for little explorers. Bookings are essential, maximum of 25.

Broom & Cauldron Dining Car
Visit Platform 9's Broom & Cauldron Dining Car to serve up snake sandwiches and bat wing tea!

Harry Potter Video Theatrette
Join in all the excitement as you watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, screening in the Theatrette.

'Wizards and Witches Express' Behind the Scenes Tours of the Working Workshops
Take a magical mystery tour of QR's Working Workshops to see the heritage trains being restored before your eyes. Remember, it's a real Workshop, so for your safety enclosed footwear is required.

Garrett Steaming
Steam history is brought to life when the Museum steams up the Garrett Steam Traction Engine.

Magical Model Railway Adventure
Test your powers of perception by finding the Workshops Wizard as he flies through the Museum's huge model railway.

Wizard's Miniature Train ride(additional charges apply)
Tickets are $3 per person (ages 1 and over) and are purchased after entry to the Museum.
