All aboard! Meet Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller at The Workshops Rail Museum where the popular books and television series is brought to life with fun characters, entertainment and activities.

The Fat Controller Meet and Greet

Meet Sir Topham Hatt, The Fat Controller in person and hear his stories about Thomas the Tank Engine.

Thomas Play Pit
10:00am to 4:00pm daily

Thomas Creation Station
9:30am to 5:00pm daily
Get creative with Thomas the Tank Engine art and craft.

Thomas & Friends Video Theatrette
9:30am to 5:00pm daily
Watch the adventures of Thomas & Friends screening continuously in the Theatrette.

Behind the Scenes Tours of the Working Workshops
Tours leave regularly throughout the day
Step into a real Workshops! Blacksmiths furnaces, one-tonne hammers and steam trains under maintenance are all on show. Enclosed footwear is required.

Workshops Express Miniature Train Ride and Bouncy Castle

Tickets are $3 per person (ages 1 and over) and are purchased after entry to the Museum.
