Please note that activities are subject to change.

Get into the Christmas spirit with festive art and craft activities at the Creation Station, write letters to Santa and play the part with dress-ups. It's BIG LOUD Christmas FUN!

Plus join in all the fun when Santa makes a very special stop at The Workshops Rail Museum on Santa Sunday, 30 November 2008.

The Museum celebrates Christmas at The Workshops because of its long and varied traditions at the iconic site.

In years past, Christmas was generally celebrated by the workers in each shop rather than across the site. The Paint Shop workers would raise money during the year selling drinks and chocolates. The coppersmiths would organise a family function at a local park. They had activities such as three-legged races and also a Santa Claus for the children.
