Onsite Educator Led Programs

Make the most of your school visit to The Workshops Rail Museum with one of the following educator led programs:

Nippers Play and Learn
The workshop is a creative, interactive and educational session for children aged 0-6 years to enjoy. With a variety of themes to choose from, all sessions include an element of song/movement, interactive storytelling and art & craft. All sessions are conducted by a trained and qualified teacher.

Simple Machines Workshop
The workshop is a hands-on approach to learning about simple machines and can be tailored to suit children aged 7-13 years. The workshops will give students an opportunity to explore simple machines through the use of specialised LEGO kits and look at how simple machines can be used at home, school and in the railway. All sessions are conducted by a trained and qualified teacher.

The Museum can also assist in the delivery of various aspects of the following programs published by the Queensland School Curriculum Council   [new window].
