Kaye Nardella

Kaye commenced work as a cartographer with the Department of Mapping and Surveying in 1978. Left the department to start a family in 1990, returning part-time in the same role and at the John Oxley Library in the archives area in 1998 (having completed a Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma in Library Studies). Returning to full time work with the Department of Natural Resources in 2004 providing support for the online land and mapping delivery application. On the retirement of Bill Kitson (original curator of the Museum) in 2007, she was appointed Senior Curator of the Museum of Lands, Mapping and Surveying. Her role has two components, running the museum and conducting historical research in matters dealing with land, mapping and surveying for government clients and the general public.
