Our Booking Officer is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm and can assist you to tailor an excursion to your curriculum needs and group sizes. Contact our Booking Officer.
Schools
Entry
Entry is FREE for Queensland schools during Queensland schools hours.
FREE entry for Queensland teachers all year. Just show your teacher identification and sign-up to our Education e-news for FREE entry.
Non-Queensland school students visiting as part of a school group and all school group visits outside Queensland schools hours are admitted at $10.50 per student.
We offer FREE entry for Teachers. We offer FREE entry for additional Carers as per the following ratios:
- 1:1 for students with special needs
- 1:5 for prep school students
- 1:10 for primary school students (years 1-7)
- 1:15 for secondary school students (years 8-12)
- Bus drivers receive free entry
Booking
School groups must book in advance to ensure access to exhibitions, events, tours and education programs.

Outside Hours School Care
We also offer Outside Hours School Care Groups the opportunity to visit and participate in a wide rage of general programs and activities specially designed to accompany school holiday events.

Group discounts are available for groups of 15 or more who have pre booked. Consider one of our group packages with meals and refreshments included.
