Heritage Railway Workshops Tours

Take a 30 minute tour into the real Working Workshops with a Queensland Rail worker as your tour guide.

You will see Queensland Rail's Heritage Rollingstock Maintenance and what is being worked on the day you visit.

Tours leave regularly throughout the day.

Enclosed footwear is required for your safety.

Blacksmiths Shop Tour

See the sparks fly, feel the heat of the furnaces and thud on massive one-tonne hammers in the Blacksmith Shop.

Steam Shop Tour

Discover the ins and outs of real Steam Trains. Here you'll see real Queensland Rail workers busily maintaining and restoring the gems of the Queensland Rail heritage train fleet.
