Inventors Workshop

Have you ever wanted to build your own transport invention? How will we travel in the future? What types of engineering masterpieces will you create to take home? Let your imagination run wild in this hands on inventors workshop zone. 

Included with Museum entry.

Dream it! Design it! Build it!

Kids and adults will love this area, jam-packed full of LEGO® and other construction gear ready for them to build and test their own inventions. 

This area includes a special under 3’s big block builder’s activity space for little engineers.

LEGO® Brick Challenge Holiday Workshops (additional cost, bookings essential)

The LEGO® Brick Challenge is an exciting new program that introduces students between the ages of 6 to 12 years, the basic principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) through the use of motorised LEGO® bricks.

These workshops are run by Young Engineers and bookings are essential. 

Dates: Weekends 7 April 2018 and 14 &15 April 2018

Times: 9:30 am and 1 pm

Duration: 3 hours

Tickets: $25 per child (includes Museum entry for one child and one parent or guardian)


Miniature Train Rides

Take a miniature train ride around the Museum grounds. Train operates 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm daily.

  • Pack a picnic & snacks to enjoy in the grounds, or buy lunch at the Cafe.
